Objective: Design a new layout for the Engineering Amazing tab. 

Strategy: Using previous layouts, I highlighted the LFA using light rays and kept everything dark so the layout wouldn't become too chaotic.

Promotional posters at the Environmental Media Association Awards

Objective: Use media space at the Warner Bro's lot to promote Lexus' sponsorship of the EMA awards. 

Strategy: Four posters were designed to mimic movie designs. We used the Lexus' three popular hybrids as "characters" and the Lexus Hybrid logo as the informative leader poster.</description>

Objective: Use technology platforms to promote Earth Hour 2010.
 
Strategy: This concept came out of the insight that city kids rarely see the stars because of light pollution. Co-branding Earth Hour 2010 with the iPhone application Star Walk provided a rare opportunity for users to see the stars, as well as map them out. 





































The microsite further expands on this relationship, allowing consumers to download the app for free during the Earth Hour. 






























































The banners interact with the page. When it first loads, the page is darkened. A slider in the corner allows the user to slide the page from dark to light, further drawing attention to the action that defines Earth Hour. </description>

Media: Branding, Print

Objective: Design the promotional materials for a fictional typography lecture at SCAD.

Strategy: Choosing to highlight the typographer Matthew Carter, I designed promotional materials around his process type creation. Carter starts his fonts from first designing an h and o. By layering his typeface Georgia in an X-ray pattern, I was able to showcase his process in a simple way without words. I carried this execution through poster, ticket and booklet designs.</description>

Media: iPhone Application, Viral Web Teaser  
 
Objective: Bring the Home Depot into the 21st century using augmented reality, allowing consumers to see before they buy.
 
Strategy: The concept came out of a desire to use new technology to push brand image into the palms of consumers. This smart phone app would allow users to see their home improvement projects before making any commitments. Available for download from the app store, driven through QR codes inside the Home Depot and continued through social media, users could share their home improvement goals, projects and accomplishments without ever stepping inside of the Home Depot.

Art Direction and Copywriting: Laura Foster

Media: Print, Outdoor
 
Objective: Brand MillionTreesNYC as pure New York.
 
Strategy: MillionTreesNYC is a non-profit organization created to plant a million trees in New York City by 2014. In order to complete this goal, they rely on communities coming together to plant trees as a whole. The aim of this campaign was to inspire the people of New York to get out their gardening gloves by showing them what their five boroughs could look like after a million trees were planted.

In addition, a new website was created, as well as a sticker campaign to drive even more awareness.

Objective: Explain the idea behind Outreach International, highlighting the non-profits goal of helping people to help themselves in order to grow sustainable futures for their communities.

Strategy: The message of Outreach International is a difficult one to explain and even more difficult to understand. Their mission is not to simply give aid to communities, but instead give them education and knowledge, the tools, to help themselves. We communicated this message by creating tools out of text, showing people that the tools of tomorrow are more than just tools. 

The copy reads: It's not just about the hammer, it’s about teaching them how to use it. That’s what makes Outreach International different. Instead of simply providing housing, we teach communities the skills to build their own.
