From IMDB: After being clinically dead for seven minutes, Pope Lucius IV wakes to tell his travel aide that he saw nothing on the other side.
In late July 2013, I was approached to create the key art for the short film Salvatore. Shot entirely in Italian, the short has a dark gritty tone, and draws visual and narrative comparisons to films like The Godfather and The Omen.
Salvatore received positive reviews and was featured prominently at the LA Shorts Fest, as well as the Calgary International Film Festival.
The film makers ultimately chose to use red rosary art for the general promotion of the movie, but printed the black rosary art for their own personal memorabilia. I also included the rejected pieces below to highlight the creative evolution.
While working at Team One on Lexus, I art directed various projects including the Environmental Media Awards and The December to Remember Sales Event.

Working in close conjunction with Mindshare LA, Sizmek created a digital scavenger hunt for fans of The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 to unlock a deleted scene from the DVD.

The campaign started the day before on Facebook with a Sponsored Post from The Capitol of Panem inviting users to come back the next day (Presidents Day) for a special message from President Snow.
When users came back the next day, they were invited to click a link to view the capitols message. The link opened up to a microsite (designed and developed by Sizmek) that appeared to be a standard Panem Propaganda video, as was featured prominently in the movie. But half way through the feed, it appeared to users that the site was broken, and resolved into code.
Many users went back to Facebook to let Lionsgate know that their site was broken (exactly what we wanted) until one eagle eyed fan realized the code was no ordinary site code, it was binary code, an easily deacodedable language.
"Citizens of Panem, please visit the following sites for a special message from The Mockingjay"
When they got to one of the partner websites, they followed the breadcrumbs left in Sponsored Article content to the actual source code of the site (right click, inspect element), giving users a chance to hack in - just like the rebels from the movie.
Inside the site code they found Mockingjay images made entirely from code which directed them to head over to Twitter and start tweeting with the hashtag #UnlockMockingjay to unlock an exclusive deleted scene from the DVD.
Additional Sponsored Posts on Twitter contained a Rich Media Unit that prompted users to continue tweeting #UnlockMockingjay in order to reach a maximum threshold and release the scene.
Within 45 minutes of going live, the hashtag #UnlockMockingjay was trending on Twitter worldwide.
The execution was picked up by numerous news outlets including Buzzfeed News, TheWrap, EW, Huffington Post Entertainment, CNN, Good Morning American and it even trended organically on Facebook the day after launch.

Anchor Music Supervision is a subset of mOcean Entertainment, an entertainment creative agency that specializes in branding, marketing and content development for musical promotion. In early 2014, I was approached to design the brand for the company in laid back SoCal style.
From Wiki: Hannibal is an American psychological thriller–horror television series developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC. The series is based on characters and elements appearing in the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris and focuses on the budding relationship between FBI special investigator Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist destined to become Graham's most cunning enemy.
As a personal project, I set out create a series of posters inspired both visually and thematically by one of my favorite televisions shows, Hannibal.
Major visual themes of the show include rich primary colors, pencil drawings, antlers and animal parts, all teetering on a fine line between beauty and blood.
From IMDb: A crash landing leaves Kitai Raige and his father Cypher stranded on Earth, a millennium after events forced humanity's escape. With Cypher injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help.

From IMDb: An incumbent congressman embroiled in personal scandal faces a no-holds-barred challenge from a naive newcomer funded by two unscrupulous billionaire lobbyist brothers.
Playing off both the election year and the fun rivalry of the 2012 Olympics, our executions for The Campaign had a decidedly 'VS' feel.

Million Trees NYC was a non-profit organization created to plant a million trees in New York City by 2014. In order to accomplish this goal, they needed the local communities to come together and plant trees as a whole. The aim of our campaign was to inspire the people of New York to get out their gardening gloves by showing them what their five boroughs could look like after a million trees were planted.
